Yesterday's LOTD;

If you read my previous blog you will know that yesterday I went to the Britain's Got Talent auditions in Glasgow. The dress code was casual and this is just a quick example of what I wore/ how I done my hair and make up. I was in a little bit of a rush when I left and didn't have a lot of time to take photos so not everything I wore is shown here but I'll add it in anyway.

Outfit:
Peplum top - River Island
Leggings - New Look
Necklace (first picture) - New Look
I also wore my black Chelsea boots from Newlook, my coat from Debenhams and a purple skull scarf from Primark.

Make Up:

Face -
Benefit Porefessional Primer
Foundation: YSL Le Teint Touché Éclat in shade B10
Concealer - The Body Shop Lightening Touch in shade 03
Bronzer (all over) - The Body Shop Baked Bronzer in shade 02
Bronzer (contour) - Benefit 'One Hot Minute'
Highlighter - Benefit 'High Beam'
Blush - Mac Sheer Tone Shimmer Blush in 'springsheen'

Eyes -
Green eyeshadows from Mac Palette
Maybelline Gel Liner
Benefit 'they're real' mascara
The Body Shop Brow Kit in shade 02

I also added a bright pink lipstick from The Body Shop which you can see in the second photograph.

Hair -
Curled using Remington curling wand.

This is a look which is perfect for any casual events where you still want to look great and a little better than just your usual day look.

Let me know what you think!

Britain's Got Talent auditions!

So yesterday my boyfriend and I were lucky enough to have tickets to the Britain's Got Talent auditions in Glasgow. After an hour and a half drive up the road I realised I had forgotten the tickets (nightmare). Luckily the staff were kind enough to accept the email I had on my phone and after a couple of hours waiting outside in the rain and wind (oh lovely Scottish weather), we finally got in. Much to our surprise we also had amazing seats, only two rows behind the judges and in view of all of the cameras. It really was an amazing day and there was some brilliant talent, which I'm sure you will get to see when it's on TV.

I had never been to anything like this before and didn't even know that you could. So if anyone would like the chance to see their favourite TV programmes I got the tickets from a website called Applause Store and they were free!!

I dreamed a dream...

Les Miserables

This is just going to be a short post but I feel I need to share with you my love for the new movie Les Miserables. I went to see it a couple of weeks ago with my mum but it was so amazing I felt the need to go and see it again a few days later (and drag my boyfriend along too).

For those of you who don't know, Les Miserables is an old musical that has recently been made into a movie... and perfectly too.

Trailer -

I just have to say that if you have not already been to see this movie... you must go! It is a beautiful movie with an amazing cast and an amazing soundtrack.

If you have been to see it, let me know what you thought :)

Perfume I'm Loving This Month!

Vera Wang - Princess

So for Christmas my boyfriend bought me Vera Wang - Princess perfume. I love this fragrance, I had tested it a couple of times and really liked it, then much to my surprise I unwrapped it on Christmas morning.

I'm sure most of people will have either tested this perfume or own it themselves as it is very popular, particularly among the younger generation. It was the first of the 'princess' fragrances by Vera Wang.

The bottle is probably one of the first thing that attracts people to the fragrance and it really is beautiful.

The lid is a little crown and also has a ring attached which you can wear when the perfume is finished.

The website says "Created for the modern day Princess, this sheer, fruity floral fragrance is definitely born to rule! The scent sparkles with the captivating, sweet, tart aroma of delicate lady apples and the coveted tahitian tiare flower and finishes with a tasty vanilla chiffon - a treat fit for royalty!"

The fragrance is very floral and fruity but it is light, although not unnoticeable. I have been loving this perfume and wearing it every day since I got it.

Have you ever tried Princess and what did you think?
